You’re Not Welcome At My Door.
Please don’t come around here,
You’re not welcome at my door.
After years of torment,
I’ve decided I want no more.
Of your bad games and trickery,
Of your selfishness and lies.
So please get off my porch,
This is my last goodbye.
You thought you could use me,
And stop by anytime.
But over the years I realized,
I’m made from the divine.
At first I found that scary.
It felt like such a pressure.
But over the years I realized,
It makes me mighty treasure.
And treasure should be cherished,
Not used and abused.
And every time you come knocking,
I’m left so confused.
But not anymore,
Now I see through the deception.
So get off my land,
You and I have no connection.
